Birthday Wishes

Here is another new stamp that I got today! I heat embossed each flower with different powder, then cut them out and used dimensionals to make them "pop". I embossed the yellow paper to give the card and extra something.

More Elmo!

Here are more Elmo cards, as promised! This time I used a button for the nose however :)

The Early Bird....

Well... i have nothing to say :)

hi.

A nice card to say a quick "hi. how are you?" I a new punch today from Michaels that punches out slots allowing you to weave ribbon through the card. These are my first cards using the punch. Also bought the "hi." stamp today and the brads in the middle of the flowers as well. :)

The Language of Friendship

I daubed this card using a circle stencil in the middle. Used the bird punch and the "Language of Friendship" stamp set. And VOILA!

Pear Pizzazz

Here I used clear embossing powder and the daubed over it. What do you think? :)

What Comes From The Heart

This card was my first attempt at using shimmer paint. I daubed the back round and then used shimmer on the trees. It was also my first try using the "stamp-a-ma-jig". It's a pretty neat gadget that allows you to place your stamp nice and straight.

ELMO!

I got the Elmo idea off the internet, it's a very simple card. It was my first try. More, better cards are to come using Elmo.

Thanks Once Again

Once again... ANOTHER thank you card. I also made this one at an open house this month. Very nice card :)

Birds of a Feather

I absolutely love this card! I made it at an open house this month. I've ordered the bird punch :) Just waiting for it to come in the mail, then I can get to making more of these wonderful cards!!

Happy Birthday Wishes

Another card I made in class. Very cute! Has a little blurb inside as well.

Birthday Wishes

A cute birthday card I made in class. I used the Cupcake Builder Punch and the Big Shot to emboss the paper. Pretty cute if I do say so myself!

New Arrival

The perfect card for the arrival of a brand new baby boy!

Happy Easter

I've joined a card making class. My boss is a demonstrator for Stampin' Up and is running them out of her house. We made this card this week. I think it's very cute! Perfect card to give my family on Easter!

Daubing

Here are two cards I made today. Something I wanted to try out. I punched out a butterfly and held it on the white card stock. I then used ink and daubed around the butterfly, which was difficult because I only have a large dauber.. not one of the tiny ones from Stampin' up. I think it turned out okay, still needs some practice but not bad for a first try I'd say.

Thanks EH!?

SO! Here are more thank you cards that I have made. I used a new technique I just learned called "daubing". I used white card stock, stamped it with 3 different stamps, and three different ink colours. I then "daubed" the back round and the edges with a different ink. I've made some with a green and some a more teal-blue colour.
